Safeguarding adults and children training
A range of training courses are provided by the Trafford Safeguarding Children Board (TSCB), including courses for those working with adults.

Clinical training courses

Greater Manchester Mental Health - Recovery Academy
The Trust’s Recovery Academy provides a range of free educational courses and resources for people with mental health and substance misuse problems, their families and carers as well as health care professionals.
Who can attend?
Anyone who is experiencing mental health or substance misuse problems
Their supporters (family, friends and loved ones)
Trust staff, volunteers and students on placement
Health Care Professionals
All our courses are free, but you need to register and sign our Student Charter before attending.
Courses currently on offer come under one of eight categories: Lived Experience, Psychological Therapies and Recovery, Physical Wellbeing, Spirituality and Recovery, Creativity and Recovery, Taking Back Control, Developing Knowledge and Life Skills and Getting Involved with the Academy.
Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS)
Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS) is a registered charity offering support to individuals and families who are affected by domestic abuse. We support both female and male victims of domestic abuse who live or work in the Trafford area.
